Attitudes are changing.
The support for abortion rights is record-high, according to a new poll from NBC News and the Wall Street Journal.
Fifty-five percent of Americans believe that abortion should be legal in all or most cases, which is the highest level of support since the poll began asking the question in 2003.
And what we’re seeing is that young Americans (18-29 years old) are reshaping this conversation.
As younger generations of Americans become more politically active, we can see that the support for abortion access increases as well. Nearly seven in ten young people agree that at least some health care professionals in their community should provide legal abortions.
Your voice matters in shaping and framing the important conversations in America. When you show your support of a woman’s right to choose, you are mobilizing and strengthening a global conversation for reproductive rights.
Attitudes are changing, and for the better.
